Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their interest in Ajax star Christian Eriksen.
The Reds sent scouts to watch the Denmark international play for his country against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria this week, and are prepared to make a bid in the summer, The Mirror reports.
Ajax are said to be willing to part with the 21-year-old at the end of the season after he turned down a contract extension at the club.
Liverpool could face competition from Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea for the Dane's services.
Eriksen is expected to be available at a cut price as he has only one year remaining on his current deal.
