Jurgen Klopp has reportedly identified Marc-Andre ter Stegen as the best option to ease his goalkeeping problems at Liverpool.
Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan are the senior keepers that are currently available to Klopp at Anfield, but both have made errors when featuring between the posts this season.
Nevertheless, the German boss recently insisted that he was happy with the pair and ruled out the arrival of any new glovemen in January.
However, according to Marca, Ter Stegen has grown increasingly frustrated at Barcelona, for whom he has made just four La Liga appearances in 18 months.
It is believed that Klopp's compatriot is eager to depart Camp Nou, which could set the wheels in motion for the 23-year-old to switch to Merseyside.
Ter Stegen, who has been capped by his country four times, made over 100 appearances for Borussia Monchengladbach prior to his move to Spain.
