Liverpool target Mark Davies?

Liverpool are said to be interested in signing Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mark Davies.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers had reportedly identified Hoffenheim's Gylfi Sigurdsson as his number one summer transfer target.

However, as the Iceland international looks poised to move to Tottenham Hotspur, Rodgers is now considering a £6m bid for Davies, according to The Mirror.

Davies, 24, was the Trotters' joint-third highest goalscorer last season, finding the net four times in the Premier League.
