Liverpool could reportedly raise funds for the January transfer window by offloading Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Nat Phillips to ease their midfield crisis.

Liverpool are reportedly considering the sale of three fringe players in order to raise funds for the upcoming January transfer window.

Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are out of contract in the summer whilst Nat Phillips has made just one appearance so far this season for Jurgen Klopp's side.

The total value of offloading the trio would be £61.2m, according to their Transfermarkt values.

The Anfield outfit are reported to be in the market for at least one midfielder, according to the Daily Express, with the likes of Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Jamal Musiala, Florian Neuhaus and Konrad Laimer linked in recent weeks.

Any deal for Bellingham or Rice would likely command a club-record fee of over £100m and depend on qualification for the Champions League.

The Reds currently sit ninth in the Premier League table, eight points behind fourth-placed Newcastle United albeit with a game in hand.
