Alisson Becker is reportedly happy to remain at Liverpool as the post-Jurgen Klopp era begins, with the goalkeeper rejecting a "massive" offer from Al-Nassr.

Liverpool's Alisson Becker has reportedly turned down a "massive" offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr ahead of the summer transfer window.

Since making the switch from Italian giants Roma to Anfield for £67m in 2018, the 31-year-old has been the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper on Merseyside, becoming an integral part of Jurgen Klopp's successful spell in charge.

Despite the Reds falling off at the end of last season - leaving Manchester City and Arsenal to fight it out for the Premier League crown - Alisson enjoyed another productive term on a personal level, keeping eight clean sheets during 28 league appearances.

Due to the fractured eye socket suffered by compatriot and Man City stopper Ederson, Alisson will almost certainly be first choice for Brazil at this summer's Copa America in the United States.

After competing for continental glory - and hopefully lifting the Selecao's 10th title in the competition - the keeper is set to return to England to begin preparations for the 2024-25 term under the tutelage of incoming Reds boss Arne Slot.

Liverpool keeper Alisson 'rejects advances' of Al-Nassr

According to Football Insider, Alisson is set to remain at Liverpool past the conclusion of the summer transfer window, extending his stay on Merseyside into a seventh season.

The report claims that the 31-year-old has rejected a major offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, who are continuing in their attempts to lure high-profile names to the Middle East.

Despite Cristiano Ronaldo's 35 league goals and sterling efforts, Luis Castro's men were unable to win the Pro League title last term, ending up in second, 14 points behind champions Al-Hilal.

Having received a relatively swift rejection from Liverpool's Alisson, it is understood that Al-Nassr have now turned their attentions to the capture of Juventus keeper Wojciech Szczesny.

At 34 years of age, the former Arsenal man is still a regular on the international stage for Poland and kept an impressive total of 15 clean sheets in Serie A last term.

Liverpool's goalkeeping conundrum

Although Alisson is set to continue as first-choice keeper at Anfield during Slot's first season in charge, there are still plenty of unanswered questions surrounding Liverpool's shot-stopping department heading into the summer window.

The Reds confirmed last month that they had offered Adrian a new contract, although it is currently unclear whether the experienced Spaniard will be extending his stay at the club.

Impressing in between the sticks as Liverpool won the EFL Cup last season, Caoimhin Kelleher is said to be attracting interest from Scottish champions Celtic ahead of the new campaign.

Therefore, with a lot of movement expected to be going on behind Alisson in the goalkeeping pecking order, it could prove helpful for the Reds to keep hold of the Brazilian star this summer.
