Premier League trio Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur discover the asking price of AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, according to a report.

Premier League trio Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have all seemingly discovered the asking price of AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders.

After six years at AZ Alkmaar, Reijnders joined Milan in the summer of 2023 for around £17m and he has since established himself as a first-team regular for the Rossoneri.

The 26-year-old all-action midfielder chipped in with four goals and four assists in 50 appearances for Milan across all competitions last season, helping the Italian giants finish second in Serie A.

Reijnders has since made a bright start to the new campaign and has already recorded four goals and three assists in 14 matches, including three goals across two Champions League wins over Club Brugge and Real Madrid.

The 19-cap Netherlands international is under contract at San Siro until June 2028, but he continues to be linked with a possible switch to another top European club ahead of the January transfer window.

Reijnders's rise has altered Premier League trio

It was reported earlier this month that Liverpool have earmarked Reijnders as an ideal alternative to Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi, who rejected a move to Anfield last summer and has since played down suggestions that he could leave his current club any time soon.

Reijnders worked with new Liverpool boss Arne Slot when the latter was in charge of AZ Alkmaar from 2019 to 2020, before making the move to Feyenoord.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have allegedly expressed an interest in signing Reijnders and are 'beginning to finalise their transfer strategy' as they prepare to rival Liverpool for his signature in January.

The latest club to join the race for Reijnders are Premier League champions Man City, with manager Pep Guardiola said to perceive the Dutchman as an ideal player for his style of football at the Etihad Stadium.

Man City have been tipped to delve into the January transfer market to sign a new midfielder now that Rodri is set to miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury.

What is Milan's asking price for Reijnders?

According to Fichajes, Reijnders 'could be close to a move away' from Milan and his form for the Rossoneri has 'sparked' the interest of several top European clubs.

The report adds that Milan are not planning to facilitate his departure any time soon as he remains an important player in Paulo Fonseca's squad.

However, Milan chiefs would be willing to consider offers that equal or exceed their €60m (£50m) valuation of the midfielder.

In a bid to fend off interest from interested suitors in Reijnders, Calciomrcato claims that Milan will look to offer the Dutchman a double-your-money contract extension.
