Javier Manquillo 'to join Liverpool on loan in next 24 hours'

Liverpool are reportedly expected to sign Atletico Madrid right-back Javier Manquillo on a two-year loan within the next 24 hours.

Liverpool are reportedly expected to seal the signature of Atletico Madrid right-back Javier Manquillo on loan within the next 24 hours.

The Merseyside outfit have been busy in the summer transfer window, but are likely to add to their ranks following reports that Manquillo was due for a medical this week.

According to the Liverpool Echo, a two-year loan agreement is expected to be finalised by tomorrow, with Liverpool having the option of securing Manquillo's signature permanently for around £5m at the end of the coming season.

Last season's Premier League runners-up are also reportedly closing in on Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno.
