Real Madrid are reportedly in advanced talks with Monaco to sign midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this summer.
The French outfit's sporting director Paul Mitchell confirmed last week that the 22-year-old is set to leave the club amid speculation linking him with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Sky Sports News, talks between Real Madrid and Monaco over the transfer of Tchouameni have now reached an advanced stage, with the Spanish giants offering the France international a five-year contract.
The report adds that Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the midfielder, who is valued by Monaco at €80m (£68m).
Tchouameni, who primarily operates as a defensive midfielder, was a standout performer for Monaco in the 2021-22 campaign, scoring five goals and registering three assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.
Real Madrid are also set to complete the signing of Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer, while Luka Modric and Vinicius Junior are believed to be in talks with Los Blancos over extending their contracts.
