The Reds will begin discussions over a fresh deal with the midfielder at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.

Manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to extend Henderson's stay at Anfield after watching him become an important member of his squad this campaign.

The former Sunderland youngster has played every game for the Reds this term, with the Champions League-chasers currently sitting fourth in the Premier League.
