Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana could reportedly turn his back on a move to Liverpool in favour of a switch to Tottenham Hotspur to follow manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The North London outfit confirmed yesterday that Pochettino has left Southampton to take over the role at White Hart Lane following Tim Sherwood's departure.
While widespread reports have claimed that Lallana is headed for Liverpool, who are said to have made a £20m bid for the England international, it is understood that Spurs are now in the market for the midfielder.
According to The Express, Tottenham could lodge a £25m bid for Lallana, who is believed to prefer a move to London as opposed to the North-West city because of his young family.
Lallana, who has an 18-month-old son called Arthur, could feature in Friday's England friendly against Peru at Wembley as the nation prepares for next month's World Cup in Brazil.
