Report: Liverpool consider James Milner move

Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move to sign Manchester City midfielder James Milner to bolster their squad for their Champions League campaign next season.

Liverpool are ready to move for Manchester City midfielder James Milner, according to a report.

The 28-year-old struggled to secure a regular place in Manuel Pellegrini's side in their Premier League-winning campaign last season, making just 11 starts.

Brendan Rodgers is prepared to offer the England international a chance to reignite his career at Anfield and boost his squad for their Champions League commitments next season, reports The People.

Milner joined City in 2010 from Aston Villa and has won the title twice during his time with the club.
