Real Madrid will reportedly bid £35m for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling this summer, according to reports.
Sterling has become a key player for the Reds in the past year, and that has increased this season in the absence of the sold Luis Suarez and injured Daniel Sturridge.
The Star claims that Madrid are plotting a move for the England international and are prepared to pay him £120,000 a week, which would be more than double his current weekly wage.
The report also says that Steven Gerrard's departure from Anfield has given them extra hope that a deal can be done, with the former England captain acting as a father figure to Sterling.
The 20-year-old has scored 6 goals in all competitions this season.
