Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of agreeing a new contract with defender Martin Skrtel.
The 27-year-old, whose current deal expires in June 2014, has been linked with possible moves to Manchester City, Napoli and Real Madrid in recent weeks.
According to Sky Sports News, Brendan Rodgers has no intention of selling Skrtel and the Reds boss has made securing the player's long-term future a priority.
Skrtel was selected as Liverpool's Player of the Year last season.
