Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke will reportedly join Crystal Palace on loan for the second half of the season after undergoing a medical with the Eagles.
The England international had a number of Premier League clubs to choose from once it became clear that he would be allowed to leave Anfield for the second half of the campaign.
Solanke has not featured in a single game for Liverpool this term, but the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion, Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town, as well as Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, were still among those thought to be keen to snap him up for the next six months.
According to the Daily Mail, however, the 21-year-old has chosen Selhurst Park as his next destination and confirmation of the loan agreement should go through on January 1.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson has been on the lookout for a new striker, having been forced to use attacking midfielders Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend up top for large parts of the season.
