Notts County goalkeeper Fabian Spiess is training with Liverpool, according to a report.

Notts County goalkeeper Fabian Spiess is reportedly training with Premier League side Liverpool.

The 21-year-old is highly regarded at Meadow Lane but has found first-team opportunities limited this season due to the form of Northern Ireland international Roy Carroll.

Spiess has previously attracted the attention of several Premier League sides as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are all thought to have monitored the German's progress in recent years.

According to the Nottingham Post, Spiess has been with Liverpool for the last three days and is hoping to impress manager Brendan Rodgers.

Spiess has made two appearances for Notts this season.
