Liverpool striker Luis Suarez reveals that he is "happy" to take his case to the Premier League to secure a move away from Anfield.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has revealed that he is prepared to take his case to the Premier League to secure a move away from the club.

The Uruguayan international has been the subject of two bids from Arsenal, both of which were rejected by the Reds.

However, Suarez believes that the Gunners' last offer, which was a reported £40,000,001, activated his release clause allowing him to leave the club.

Suarez told The Telegraph: "I have the club's word and we have the written contract and we are happy to take this to the Premier League for them to decide the case but I do not want it to come to that. We have the backing of the PFA.

"Liverpool is a club with a reputation for doing things the right way, I just want them to abide by the promises made last season."

Suarez admitted that at the start of the summer transfer window he wanted to leave Liverpool.
