Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu has claimed that Liverpool have made a bid for goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
The Premier League giants are currently well stocked for options between the sticks, with Adrian, Caoimhin Kelleher and Andy Lonergan providing backup to Alisson Becker.
However, after being linked with a move for Cakir in recent months, Agaogulu says that the Merseyside outfit have made contact regarding a potential deal for the stopper.
Agaogulu told reporters: "There are offers for Cakir, we continue to receive offers. It's been said Liverpool have made an offer.
"So a team that is undefeated in the Premier League wants my keeper. In other words Liverpool's goalkeeper is in my goal."
Despite the acknowledgement of an offer being made, Cakir still has four-and-a-half years left on his contract, putting Trabzonspor in a strong position regarding his future.
