Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has played down rumours over his Camp Nou future after he was linked with a transfer to Liverpool.
The 31-year-old has just one year left on his contract with the Catalan giants and discussions over a new deal have apparently stalled.
Reports on Monday claimed that Barca were lining up Manchester United's David de Gea as a possible replacement for Valdes, who was suggested to be Anfield-bound.
Current Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina is understood to be a long-term target of Arsenal and could leave the Reds to trigger a merry-go-round of Spanish stoppers.
However, Valdes took to Twitter to quell the transfer talk, saying: "Hi everyone, I want to declare that I haven't said anything regarding my future yet - I will do when the time comes.
"Everything that has been said in this respect are speculations."
Valdes has spent 20 years at the Camp Nou since joining the Barca youth team in 1992.
