An acrobatic effort from Lewis Macleod separates Livingston and Rangers at the halfway point of this afternoon's Scottish Championship clash at the Energy Assets Arena.
The Gers survived an early scare when hesitation at the back allowed Danny Mullen to collect a stray ball on the edge of the box, but his effort sailed over the bar.
Rangers took the lead in spectacular fashion in the eighth minute as Macleod met Ian Black's cross with an overhead kick that ended up in the top corner.
Ally McCoist's side almost doubled their advantage in the 17th minute as Black won the ball in the centre of the park and played in Nicky Clark, whose strike was saved well by Darren Jamieson.
One-way traffic ensued, but the Gers were unable to extend their lead before the referee brought the first half to a close.
