Lorient striker Jeremie Aliadiere has insisted that he remains committed to Les Murlus, denying reports that he travelled to Lyon for transfer talks last weekend.
Aliadere has been linked with a switch to Lyon for much of the summer, leading to rumours that he held discussions with Remi Garde's side last over a move last Saturday, after missing Lorient's Ligue 1 opener at Lille.
The former Arsenal forward is adamant that he will not leave Lorient before the transfer window closes, vowing to repay the faith shown by coach Christian Gourcuff.
He told Le Telegramme: "My mind is clear. I'll stay in Lorient. I can't wait, for me the transfer window is over."
"It was not until my return [from London] that I learned through my agent and the president. I wonder who could say I was in Lyon?"
The 30-year-old found form with Lorient last season, shrugging off previous injury problems to score 19 goals in all competitions.
