Free agent Kevin Nolan has reportedly turned down a move to Ligue 1 side Lorient.
The 33-year-old has been without a club since he left West Ham United in the summer and had been linked with a move back to Bolton Wanderers.
It is believed that Lorient offered the midfielder a two-year contract but according to The Sun, Nolan rejected the deal over wages and did not want to move his family to France.
Nolan has made 593 career appearances in 18 seasons, scoring 111 goals.
