Lyon coach Remi Garde has admitted that his side's performance against Bastia in Ligue 1 on Saturday "worries" him.
The former French champions suffered a 4-1 defeat to Frederic Hantz's team away from home.
"We sleep-walked our way into this game," he told reporters. "We were only at the races for 10 minutes, which isn't enough. There was a lack of concentration and communication unworthy of a Ligue 1 club.
"We played like a youth team. We weren't able to stabilise ourselves, and were leaking all over the place. It's a huge slap in the face. We weren't up to it collectively and defensively. I don't have any explanation. If there was a team out there on the pitch, it wasn't ours.
"The team which had the most desire was the one that is fighting for its survival, and that worries me. I told the players I was disappointed. This is absolutely not the evening to be talking about the title."
Lyon are currently five points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain in second place.
