Aly Cissokho seeks Premier League move

Aly Cissokho admits that he wants to leave Lyon and join a Premier League club.

Lyon full-back Aly Cissokho has revealed that he is keen on securing a move to the Premier League this month.

The 24-year-old has been made available for transfer by the French club following discussions with president Jean-Michel Aulas.

"I spent the break calmly and enjoyed the holidays," he told L'Equipe. "This week, I will speak with the OL staff. I reckon I prefer England, but for now, there is nothing done."

Cissokho, who has made 19 league appearances for Lyon this season, has recently been linked with a move to Newcastle United.
