Malaga confirm Roque Santa Cruz exit

Malaga confirm that they have agreed to sell Roque Santa Cruz to Mexican side Cruz Azul.

Malaga have confirmed that experienced forward Roque Santa Cruz will join Mexican side Cruz Azul in the January transfer window.

The 33-year-old has been locked in talks with the Mexican outfit over the last couple of weeks and all parties have now come to an agreement.

"Malaga Club de Futbol and Cruz Azul Football Club have reached an agreement for the striker Roque Santa Cruz, who will join the Mexican side in the winter market," read a statement on Malaga's official website.

Santa Cruz, who has scored three goals in 12 league games for Malaga this season, has also played for the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester City during an illustrious career.
