Vincent Kompany has revealed that he wants Manchester City to enjoy a "special night" against Barcelona on Wednesday as they look to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
City travel to the Camp Nou hoping to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit in their last-16 encounter.
Kompany believes that the team should use their dramatic Premier League title triumph in 2012 as inspiration if they want to progress at the expense of the Spanish giants.
"Football is made out of nights like this," the Belgian is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "If anything should give you belief, then it should be that day against QPR. We're here to try and have one of those special nights, we have to."
City come into the match against Barcelona on the back of Sunday's surprise defeat to Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
