Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has revealed that he will meet with club chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak in the next few days to discuss the future of Carlos Tevez.
The 27-year-old caused controversy in City’s 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich last night after refusing to come off the substitutes bench in the second half.
The Italian boss stated that the striker would never play for the club again and will meet with the chairman to discuss the incident.
"In the next days, we will speak with Khaldoon,” Mancini said. "It is normal. He is the chairman. He decides everything.
"If I decided, yes [he would leave]. He wanted to leave last year. I helped him for two years every time. He refused to play.
"I cannot accept this behaviour from him. I decide the substitutions, not Carlos."
Meanwhile, the frontman has since issued a statement apologising to the City fans and insisting that he didn’t refuse to play in the Champions League fixture.
