Gerardo Martino: 'We will be expected to win'

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino hints that his side are the favourites to overcome Manchester City in the Champions League.

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino believes that his side are "expected to win all the competitions" that they are taking part in this season.

Martino's words came in the light of drawing Manchester City in the last-16 stage of the Champions League, when questioned whether the Catalan side would be favourites for the European tie.

"What I do know, is that Barcelona are expected to win all the competitions they're playing in and we have opponents that we have to defeat," he told reporters at a press conference.

"Now, we've drawn Manchester City. I can't say if we feel superior or not, but we have to battle among the best teams in the competition."

The Champions League resumes in February.
