Manchester City have come away empty handed from a 2-1 defeat to Napoli at the San Paolo Stadium this evening.
Edinson Cavani put the Italians in the lead with a close-range header in the 17th minute, but the match remained even as Mario Balotelli squared the score for the Blues after the half hour mark.
Cavani scored a second four minutes after the restart to seal the home side's victory.
City now lie third in Group A, a point behind their victors.
