Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne are both named in Manchester City's starting lineup for the Champions League fixture with Barcelona.

Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne have both been named in Manchester City's starting lineup for the Champions League fixture with Barcelona.

When the two teams met at Camp Nou, Aguero was only selected as a substitute but he leads the City line at the Etihad Stadium as they bid for their first win in three games in Europe.

De Bruyne is also fit to start the match in the North-West after making a return from injury against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.

Pablo Zabaleta is named at right-back, while Wilfredo Caballero is selected in goal with Claudio Bravo serving a one-match suspension.

Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Jeremy Mathieu and Andres Iniesta all miss the match either through injury or suspension so Luis Enrique is forced into changes from the reverse fixture two weeks ago.

Lucas Digne, Sergi Roberto and Andre Gomes are among the players brought into the team, while the trio of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are selected in attack.

Manchester City: Caballero, Zabaleta, Stones, Otamendi, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Sterling, De Bruyne, Silva, Aguero
Subs: Gunn, Clichy, Kompany, Fernando, Navas, Nolito, Iheanacho

Barcelona: Ter Stegen, Digne, Mascherano, Umtiti, Sergi Roberto, Busquets, Gomes, Rakitic, Neymar, Messi, Suarez
Subs: Cillessen, Marlon, Perdomo, Turan, D.Suarez, Rafinha, Alcacer
