Manchester City assistant manager David Platt has no doubts that his side will not be thinking about the FA Cup final until next month.
The Premier League champions reached their third final in three years on Sunday, after goals from Samir Nasri and Sergio Aguero gave City a 2-1 win over Chelsea in the semi-final at Wembley.
Despite being favourites to lift the trophy, Platt is certain that City will not underestimate their opponents.
"Roberto Mancini and ourselves won't be thinking about FA Cup finals on Wednesday," Platt told Sky Sports News. "The cup final can wait until late in May.
"Cup final are cup finals, stranger things have happened and our focus is on Wigan, Tottenham, West Ham, Swansea and maybe one more - we have four or five league games to concentrate on before a cup final."
City will face Wigan Athletic in the final in May.
