Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini rings the changes for this afternoon's FA Cup quartet-final against Barnsley.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has made six changes to his side for this afternoon's FA Cup quarter-final against Barnsley.

An unfamiliar defensive unit features Joleon Lescott and Aleksandr Kolarov, who come in for Matija Nastasic and Gael Clichy.

Costel Pantilimon also continues his run of starting in this competition as he replaces Joe Hart in goal.

Samir Nasri, Edin Dzeko and Gareth Barry also get a chance to impress at the expense of Jack Rodwell, James Milner and Javi Garcia.

Barnsley have also made two changes to their starting XI, with Manchester United loanee Ryan Tunnicliffe and Tomasz Cywka in for Chris O'Grady and Jacob Mellis.

Manchester City: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kolo Toure, Lescott, Kolarov, Yaya Toure, Barry, Silva, Tevez, Nasri, Dzeko

Barnsley: Steele, Wiseman, Cranie, Kennedy, Foster, Etuhu, Tunnicliffe, Perkins, Cywka, Dagnall, Harewood
