How Manchester City could line up against West Ham United

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between West Ham United and Manchester City, Sports Mole looks at how Pep Guardiola's side could line up in East London.

Manchester City head into their Premier League encounter with West Ham United looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 13 matches.

The Premier League champions endured an indifferent start to the campaign, but Pep Guardiola's side have managed to register 11 wins and nine clean sheets in their last dozen outings.

However, the current top-flight champions only hold a two-point advantage at the top of the standings ahead of their trip to the London Stadium.

Guardiola has a number of injury concerns ahead of Saturday's match, and here Sports Mole looks at how his team could line up against the Hammers.

Out: Kevin De Bruyne (knee), Claudio Bravo (Achilles), Eliaquim Mangala (knee), Benjamin Mendy (knee)
Doubtful: Bernardo Silva (knock), Nicolas Otamendi (Achilles tendonitis)

Benjamin Mendy will be missing from this weekend's fixture after the Frenchman underwent knee surgery during the international break, and it should lead to Oleksandr Zinchenko coming in at left-back.

Bernardo Silva picked up a knock while on international duty with Portugal, and Guardiola may opt to leave the midfielder out of the starting lineup with Lyon to come in the Champions League.

Guardiola is likely to select his English players with the likes of Kyle Walker, John Stones and Raheem Sterling having remained in this country and with the Three Lions' last fixture coming on Sunday.

However, Ilkay Gundogan could get the nod over Fabian Delph as he continues his comeback from injury, while Leroy Sane may be preferred on the left flank.

Sergio Aguero is expected to start ahead of Gabriel Jesus having not represented Argentina over the international break.
