Report: Sergio Aguero sidelined for two to four weeks with rib injury

Sergio Aguero will reportedly be back from injury within two to four weeks after suffering a broken rib in a car crash in Amsterdam.

Manchester City are reportedly expecting to have Sergio Aguero back from injury within two to four weeks following a road accident in Amsterdam.

The 29-year-old suffered a broken rib as he was travelling back to the airport in a taxi after attending a music concert in the Dutch capital.

Aguero wrote on social media that the vehicle "made a wrong turn and crashed against a pole" with a "very heavy slam".

According to Sky Sports News, the injury is not as bad as first feared and the Argentine should miss no more than four weeks.

The injury means that Aguero will miss Man City's weekend Premier League clash against Chelsea, and will also be absent for Argentina's World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Ecuador in early October.
