Kevin De Bruyne has insisted that Manchester City have to be able to cope with the absence of striker Sergio Aguero.
The Argentine has been ruled out for a month due to a hamstring injury he sustained while on international duty, leaving Manuel Pellegrini's men without their leading marksman.
De Bruyne told Sky Sports News: "He is one of the best strikers in the world and was obviously creating a lot of chances, scored five in the last game and now we are without him.
"We will try to put in good performances without him and he'll be happy when he gets back."
Aguero has scored eight goals in all competitions for the Citizens this season.
