Sergio Aguero: 'Manchester City have Premier League title edge'

Sergio Aguero believes that Manchester City are the favourites to win this season's Premier League title.

Sergio Aguero has claimed that Manchester City have the edge over rivals Manchester United and Chelsea in the race for the Premier League title.

City are among the favourites to be crowned champions this season after spending heavily over the summer on new players such as Fernandinho, Alvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas.

"I am convinced we are stronger than last season," Aguero told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

"It will be a really competitive Premier League but we have a good squad to win and I would say we have a staff a little better than United and Chelsea."

The Blues return to league action on Saturday when they travel to Stoke City.
