The 24-year-old has been the subject of reported interest from Real Madrid recently, but has always maintained that he wants to stay at the Etihad Stadium.
He has now displayed his commitment by penning a deal which ties him to the club until 2017.
Aguero has scored 47 goals from just 69 starts since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
