Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has revealed that he is to join up with the Argentina squad on Monday, despite picking up an injury at the weekend.
The 23-year-old was substituted during City's 4-0 win at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday with a groin injury, and Blues assistant David Platt said after the match that he expected Aguero to be sidelined for two weeks.
However, the former Atletico Madrid forward tweeted on Sunday: "I am very happy because the doctor told me I have only a muscle bound! Tomorrow I come back to the national team!!"
Argentina are currently preparing for two World Cup qualifying matches against Chile and Venezuela.
