Mario Balotelli: 'Jose Mourinho didn't understand me'

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has claimed that Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho 'does not understand him'.

The 21-year-old was responding to a question about his disagreements with the Madrid boss when the pair were at Inter Milan, with Balotelli placing the blame on Mourinho.

"That's his problem. Mourinho is a great manager but he didn't understand me – he said nobody can understand me but I think the only one who can't understand me is him," Balotelli told the BBC.

Balotelli's City side travel to Swansea City in the Premier League on Sunday.
