Ryan Bennett doubtful for visit of Manchester City

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton confirms that Ryan Bennett is a doubt for the game against Manchester City due to a thigh injury.

Chris Hughton has confirmed that Ryan Bennett is doubtful for Norwich City's game against Manchester City on Saturday.

The defender has started every league game since the turn of the year but is facing a race to be fit for the meeting with Manuel Pellegrini's side at Carrow Road due to a thigh injury.

"Ryan hasn't trained this week and it will be touch and go as to whether he'll be available on Saturday," Hughton told reporters.

"He felt his thigh slightly. It might end up being a fitness test before the game, but of course we're hoping he'll be available because he's playing very well at the moment."

Norwich are currently 15th in the Premier League, two points above the relegation zone.
