Lee Cattermole believes that Sunderland have the ability to defeat Manchester City for the second time this season.

Sunderland captain Lee Cattermole believes that the Black Cats can bounce back from their FA Cup quarter-final defeat with a victory over Manchester City.

The North East side face the Premier League title challengers at the Etihad Stadium this weekend following their 2-0 defeat to Everton on Tuesday.

The Black Cats have already tasted victory over Roberto Mancini's side and Cattermole believes that they can snatch glory again.

"We beat them at home and played brilliantly, so if we can go there and be the first team to get a point off them at their place it would be brilliant," the Express quotes Cattermole as saying.

Martin O'Neill's side currently sit eighth in the league table with as many games left to play.
