Reports suggest that Samir Nasri will be fit to play for Manchester City at the weekend despite breaking his finger on international duty.

Manchester City expect Samir Nasri to feature this weekend, despite suffering a suspected broken finger while on international duty, according to The Mirror.

The 24-year-old sustained the injury as a 75th minute substitute for France during their 0-0 draw away in Romania.

However, City are hopeful that the finger can be strapped up, allowing the £24m signing from Arsenal to play some part when Wigan Athletic visit the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
