Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has reportedly put his contract talks with Manchester City on hold.
Gundogan, 28, has made over 100 appearances for City since a 2016 move from Borussia Dortmund.
The midfielder has been a regular for the Citizens this season, making 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring five times and contributing seven assists in the process.
Gundogan's current deal will expire next summer, however, and according to Goal.com, he has put contract renewal talks on hold to consider his future.
The same report claims that Gundogan is unsure whether he will be a first-team regular next season and does not want to sign a new long-term deal if it means becoming a bit-part player.
City will return to Premier League action away to Fulham on Saturday afternoon knowing that a win would move them back to the top of the table.
