Joe Hart will attend the England press conference this afternoon, although the Football Association stresses that it does automatically not make him the captain for tomorrow's friendly with Holland.

Joe Hart will attend the England press conference at Wembley Stadium this afternoon.

However, the Football Association have stressed that it does not necessarily mean that the Manchester City goalkeeper has been chosen to skipper the Three Lions against Holland tomorrow evening.

Interim coach Stuart Pearce has yet to make his decision over the captaincy public.

Hart is believed to be a contender for the role, along with Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and City's James Milner.

Traditionally, the final press conference before an international fixture is held by the manager and his captain.
