Manchester City's defeat at Chelsea has only made the club hungrier, according to Vincent Kompany.
Roberto Mancini's side hadn't lost a single Premier League game this season before their trip to Stamford Bridge, and Kompany insists that his teammates are eager to bounce back at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
"Monday has made us feel more hungry," he told The Times.
"We want Sunday to come as quickly as possible and to play football again. That is the kind of team we are.
"In those kinds of moments we react and we are eager to do it on Sunday."
Despite their defeat, the Citizens are still two points clear at the top of the league table.
