Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany has taken to Twitter to praise his side's 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Sunday.
The result moved City to within touching distance of the Premier League title, and the 26-year-old praised the club's fans.
"Incredible team performance. So happy and proud to walk out on the pitch alongside these great players. Special mention to our fans again!" Kompany tweeted.
"We haven't won anything yet and the team knows that. Normal preparation ahead of the QPR game in which we'll have to be at our best again."
City will secure the Premier League title with victory over Queens Park Rangers next weekend.
