Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has claimed that Manchester City may "crumble" due to the atmosphere at St James' Park on Sunday.
The league leaders travel to Newcastle on Sunday looking to solidify their place at the top of the Premier League but Krul insists that Roberto Mancini's men could be in for a shock.
The Dutch keeper said: "It's going to be electric on Sunday. We've had Man United and Sunderland [there], and I'm sure the fans will generate the same atmosphere as they did in those two games. That will make teams crumble, hopefully.
"We've beaten a lot of the top teams already this season and it's now a huge game on Sunday. City are challenging for the League and we're going for the Champions League."
Alan Pardew's team will head into Sunday's match full of confidence following a 2-0 victory over Chelsea on Wednesday night.
