Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has insisted that his side have the "belief" that they can get a result against Manchester City this weekend.
The Midlands outfit have already secured a victory over the Premier League champions in the League Cup, when they won 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
"I know how hard it is going to be but we are playing well enough to cause them trouble," Lambert told the club's official website. "Nobody expects you to win these games but ourselves.
"I know it's a really tough game but I have belief in my team that we will do the best we can to win. You have to try to impose yourself. As long as we have the belief! If they keep doing what they are doing, they will win more games than not."
Villa currently sit just three points above the relegation zone in the league table, while City reside in second place, two points adrift of leaders Manchester United.
