Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has insisted that David Silva's ankle injury is not serious.
The midfielder missed out on City's Carling Cup semi-final first leg against Liverpool on Wednesday with the problem.
"I hope it is not serious, I hope he will be back for the next game," said Mancini.
The Premier League leaders travel to Wigan Athletic on Monday.
