Roberto Mancini has revealed that Carlos Tevez could make a permanent move to AC Milan as soon as next week.
The 27-year-old has been embroiled in discussions with the Italian giants over a potential move after his fall from grace at the North West side.
City and the Serie A side have been in conflict over a deal, with Milan keen on a loan switch in order to replace injured Antonio Cassano.
While Milan would prefer a temporary deal, City have stood firm on their stance that the Argentina international should be sold.
"We hope if Milan want to take him that we can close it in one week, ten days," said Mancini. "But I don't know if it's possible. I'm confident that we can close this situation if possible."
It now appears that the Italian side are willing to take on Tevez on a permanent basis.
