Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said that he expects Carlos Tevez and Maicon to make successful transitions to life in Serie A this season.
Both players left the Etihad during the summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by new City boss Manuel Pellegini, joining Juventus and Roma respectively.
Mancini believes that Tevez will be an instant hit for the Italian champions as they look for a third successive Scudetto, while also backing Maicon to find form and fitness at the Olimpico.
He told Il Messaggero: "I never had any problems with Tevez, he is a good guy. There was that one issue with him, but I am certain that he will do well in Turin.
"As for Maicon, he is a great player who, if he is in good shape, could become a fundamental player for the Giallorossi.
"Juventus have remained as favourites for the title. However, I would keep an eye on Milan and Napoli as well."
Tevez is expected to make his Juve debut against Sampdoria tomorrow, with Maicon also in contention for a maiden Roma start at Livorno on Sunday.
